The Sad Reality About Waste Management

The Sad Reality About Waste Management

November 15, 20231 min read

The sad reality about waste management is that its mismanagement is more diffused than its management.

It could seem a paradox, but it isn't.

You know perfectly what I'm saying if you run a small waste company or a junk removal. And it affects the price of services.

Indeed, it's so easy to collect 20 tons of unsegregated waste and ask for $ 1,200.00 as the disposal fee instead of sharing with the client the importance of segregating the different types, reducing the amount of the ones that will finish in landfills.

Unfortunately, the sad reality is that the largest groups continue to go in this direction because they own several landfills, and for them, it's cheaper to offer these types of services.

But that's the point.

If you start to market your service by saying something like "To all the companies that don't have interest in landfill their waste" or "To all the companies that want take care of the environment even with the management of their waste," immediately, you'll change the competition.

You'll exit the competition between you and the waste management companies or junk removals that dispose of the waste they collect in landfills.

Add to that message an image or a video that shares that you really follow the way to not dispose of the waste in landfills.

With this simple cheat, you'll change the positioning of your small waste company or junk removal in your market, and automatically, you'll avoid the competition with big brands that own their landfills and are able to offer prices that you can't.

That's the way.

Be the Change!
